A UK investment visa is not an option for all but it is an option for some. Potentially if this applies to you then you might be able to get a Visa to live in the UK. An investment Visa is for people who are willing and able to invest at least two million pounds into the UK economy in some way. Those that have an investment visa can live and work in the UK and also be able to bring dependents with them. Then after a period of time, you should be able to settle down in the UK and typically if you are able to invest more than two million then you might be able to speed up the settlement process.
To be eligible for one you must be of at least 18 years of age for an investment visa You must be able to provide evidence that you have ownership of at least £2,000,000 in a ‘disposable’ and investable form. Have a UK bank account (the money does not need to be in the UK) You must also be able to pay the application fee of £1,623 and any medical surcharges that may arise.
There are a few different documents that you must provide when applying; A current valid passport or another valid form of travel suitable identification, certificate showing your criminal record history from countries you have stayed in for the last ten years. You will also need to show that you own the money and where you got it from if you’ve had the money for less than two years. You must have a certified translation copy if the documents aren’t in either English or Welsh. You must also provide evidence that you have a UK bank account.
There are a few steps on how to apply (when outside of the UK). For an investment visa, you will need to online. The UK Government needs your fingerprints and photograph for a ‘biometric residence permit’. You will do this at a visa application centre. You will also need to collect the permit within ten days of the date that you provided of when you would arrive in the UK. Even if you arrive later than expected.

It normally takes three weeks to get the result on your visa application. (If your application is coming from outside of the UK.)
